I graduated from the TOAN lab at ECE department and OSC college of the University of Arizona, advised by Dan Kilper and Robert Norwood. I work on machine learning, optical transmission systems and optical networks, with an emphasis on researching the application of artificial intelligence in optical software defined network (SDN) to make the optical interconnection more reliable and more efficient.
I have a masters from University of Arizona and a bachelors from the Shenzhen University. I have collaboration with Columbia University and Dublin City University on researches of transparent optical SDN and network performance prediction in optically amplified networks. I’ve also spent time at open source project ccxt and Amazon Web Services. I’m grateful to be supported by Microsoft Research and Center for Integrated Access Networks under National Science Foundation.
I started my full-time job as a research scientist at Facebook HQ.
I received my Doctor of Philosophy Degree from University of Arizona.
